1. Introduction

Welcome to OQUO FILTERS LTD ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website (OQUO.STORE), products, and installation services (collectively, "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree, please discontinue use immediately.

Key Notes:

  • We operate via Shopify’s platform, but all sales are directly with OQUO FILTERS LTD.
  • These Terms include warranty disclaimers and liability limitations (Sections 15–17).

2. Account & Eligibility

  • You must be 18+ or have parental consent to use our Services.
  • Provide accurate information (e.g., email, address) and keep your account secure.
  • No transfers: Accounts are personal and non-transferable.

3. Products & Orders

  • Accuracy: Product colors/appearance may vary due to device screens.
  • Changes: We may modify/discontinue products without notice.
  • Order Acceptance: Payment processing confirms acceptance. Review orders carefully—cancellations may not be possible post-acceptance.

4. Pricing & Payments

  • Prices are GBP and exclude taxes/shipping (added at checkout).
  • We may correct pricing errors and cancel orders if necessary.
  • You agree to provide valid payment details and pay all charges.

5. Shipping & Returns

  • Delivery Times: Estimates only; not liable for carrier delays.
  • Returns: See our Refund Policy. Customers cover return shipping costs.

5A. INSTALLATION SERVICES

Scope of Service

  1. Standard Installation:
    • Included with qualifying RO system purchases.
    • Covers:
      Connection to standard 1/2" plumbing under kitchen sink
      Basic system setup and testing
      Disposal of packaging materials
    • Timeframe: 1–2 hours (typical).
  2. Non-Standard Installations:
    • Additional charges apply for:
      Longer tubing runs (>1.5m from water source)
      Special fittings (e.g., non-standard pipe sizes)
      Relocating systems to basements/utility rooms
    • Technician will provide a quote before proceeding.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure clear access to installation area (empty under-sink cabinet).
  • Provide a power outlet within 1m of installation site (for electric pump models).
  • Disclose any known plumbing issues beforehand.

Limited Warranty

  • 12-month labor warranty on installations (parts covered by product warranty).
  • Void if:
    System is moved/modified by unauthorized persons
    Damage results from improper maintenance (e.g., overdue filter changes)

Scheduling & Cancellations

  • Flexible Appointments: Evening/weekend slots available (subject to availability).
  • Rescheduling: 24-hour notice required to avoid £25 rebooking fee.
  • No-Shows: Missed appointments incur a £40 fee for rebooking.

Safety & Compliance

  • Installations comply with UK Water Regulations and Building Standards.
  • Technician may refuse unsafe installations (e.g., severely corroded pipes).

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content (logos, text, images) is owned by OQUO FILTERS LTD or licensors.
  • No commercial use without our written permission.

7. Third-Party Tools & Links

  • Optional third-party tools (e.g., payment gateways) are used at your risk.
  • We’re not responsible for third-party websites linked on our store.

8. User Conduct

Prohibited:

  • Illegal activities, spamming, or harassing our team.
  • Copying/scraping our website content.
  • Introducing malware or disrupting Services.

Violations may result in account termination.


9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

  • Products/Services: Provided "as is." We don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free use.
  • Liability Cap: We’re not liable for indirect damages (e.g., lost profits) arising from product use or Services.

10. Indemnification

You agree to cover costs if your use of our Services violates these Terms or harms third parties.


11. Governing Law & Disputes
